September 20, 2019 by Corey A Edwards

UF Homecoming 2019 Gator Growl WeekAnother summer has come and gone and now it’s time for UF Homecoming 2019 and the attendant Gator Growl Week. This year’s homecoming game pits the Gators against the Auburn Tigers on October 5th following a week of festivities starting September 29th.

UF Homecoming week arrives early this year, with some of the week’s many events landing in the month of September. If you plan on coming out for the nation’s largest student-run pep rally, now is the time to acquire those accommodations and Hampton Lake Bed & Breakfast would love to help.

Our Florida lakefront inn is nestled against a natural cypress lake in a quiet neighborhood – yet is just 25 minutes from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. We’re also only 14 miles from Gainesville Regional Airport. So go ahead and enjoy all the noise and happy chaos of Gator Growl, then escape back to the comfort and serenity of Hampton Lake Bed & Breakfast.

2019 Florida Gators Football Schedule Home Games

August 9, 2019 by Corey A Edwards

Florida Gators Football Schedule 2019I’m not sure where summer has gone but here we are already looking at the 2019 Florida Gators Football Schedule. Six home games are on the schedule, the first on September 7th vs the UT Martin Skyhawks.

Thinking of attending? Our Florida lakeside Inn makes the perfect home away from home for Gators fans!

Hampton Lake Bed & Breakfast is just under a half-hour’s drive from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at the University of Florida. This means you can go wild cheering on the Gators in Gainesville, then head back to your lakeside retreat at Hampton Lake for a peaceful night’s rest.

Our contemporary North Florida Bed and Breakfast is located on a natural cypress lake. Along with luxurious guestrooms and a full breakfast, our amenities include a 180 feet of waterfront, a public boat launch, dock, and great fishing. And all just 14 miles from the Gainesville Regional Airport!

Catching a game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is an awesome experience. The stadium, affectionately referred to as “The Swamp,” is Florida’s largest stadium. There’s not a bad seat in the house and it’s considered one of the toughest fields around for a visiting team. If you love classic college football action, you owe it to yourself to come watch a Gators home game.
