There are a lot of pluses to staying at Hampton Lake Bed & Breakfast, not the least of which is our location on the shores of a natural cypress lake. You can fish, boat, soak up amazing sunsets, and more.
Don’t get the idea that our Florida lakefront lodging is way out in the boonies, however!
Gainesville is just a short drive away, Jacksonville less than an hour, and shopping, dining, and more are right here in Starke FL.
Gatornationals brings a lot of people to the area, so reserving your accommodations in the Gainesville area early is a good idea.
NHRA Gatornationals 2020
March 12th through the 15th
Gainesville Raceway – 11211 N County Road 225, Gainesville, FL 32609
The 51st annual NHRA Gatornationals is a busy weekend featuring the season’s first Pro Stock Motorcycle race. It also includes the excitement of 10,000-horsepower, nitro-fueled, Top Fuel dragster and Funny Car races.
Gainesville Raceway is one of the NHRA circuit’s fastest tracks. Records of all kinds are regularly set and broken here, making it an exciting and fun place to see an event. Recent upgrades to the stadium, skyboxes, and race control tower add modern comforts to this classic track.
Special attractions this year includes guided NHRA 101 Tours. These informative tours take you behind-the-scenes around the pit areas where you never know who you’ll meet. Maybe even a professional NHRA driver or two!
The weekend also includes autograph sessions, a Get to Know Pro Stock Motorcycle event with Angelle Sampey and Frank Aragona Jr. A full schedule for the weekend can be found here.
Even without the tours and special events, fans can watch the action in the pit as well as interact with and get autographs from their favorite NHRA drivers.
