If you enjoy perusing antiques and collectibles, have we the place for you. The Waldo Flea Market and Antique Village has over 900 dealers, making it the largest antique and collectibles market in the region.
Antiques and collectibles fans know how exciting it is to hunt for the rare finds they covet. This is especially true when they find themselves outside their usual hunting grounds. There is excitement in the unknown. Where the rest of us only see piles of “old used stuff,” they see a potential for buried treasure and can entertain themselves for hours just browsing.
If this describes you, you’ll be happy to learn that Waldo Antique Village is just a five minute drive from our North Central Florida bed and breakfast. The 20,000 square foot, two story building is a magnet for collectors, with a cornucopia of items inside. You’ll see antiques, curiosities, jewelry, apparel, art, toys, records, tools, furniture, and a host of other collectibles.
And that’s just the Waldo Antique Village – wait until you see the Waldo Flea Market!
Waldo Flea Market
While the Antique Village is open 7 days a week, the Waldo Flea Market is only open on weekends. While the Antique Village sells primarily antique items, the flea market includes new and lightly used modern items. You’ll still see plenty of antiques and vintage collectibles at the flea market, however.
With over 900 dealers on 50 acres, I’d suppose you could expect to see just about anything! In fact Waldo Flea Market is also Waldo Farmers Market!
Fresh local produce, baked goods, preserves, and more are a popular part of the flea market’s weekly offerings. They even have small livestock or pets like chickens, rabbits, and puppies.
Waldo Antique Village has been voted “Best Antique Mall in Florida” numerous times. The vendors are friendly and there are even concession stands offering food and drink. Even if you’re not big on antiques and used goods, Waldo Antique Village can be a fun way to spend an afternoon.
