If you like animals, you owe it to yourself to visit Carson Springs Wildlife Conservation Foundation in Gainesville, Fl.

Carson Springs Wildlife Conservation Foundation is a popular, North Central Florida exotic animal refuge housing over 70 rescued animals. Lions, caracals, hyenas, tortoise, cheetahs, rhinos, warthogs, foxes, and many others.

Unlike a zoo, the animals housed at Carson Springs enjoy thoughtful, spacious, and more natural enclosures. Consequently, visitors to Carson Springs are greeted by a collection of happy, active, and bright-eyed animals.

Carson Springs Wildlife Conservation Foundation opened in 2003 with a mission to rescue and rehabilitate exotic and native animals. The facility prides itself in going above and beyond the minimum housing standards set by the Department of Fish and Wildlife. Along with the large, clean, enclosures, the animals also receive carefully monitored, individually tailored diets.
