Unlike a zoo, the animals housed at Carson Springs enjoy thoughtful, spacious, and more natural enclosures. Consequently, visitors to Carson Springs are greeted by a collection of happy, active, and bright-eyed animals.

Carson Springs Wildlife Conservation Foundation opened in 2003 with a mission to rescue and rehabilitate exotic and native animals. The facility prides itself in going above and beyond the minimum housing standards set by the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
